Welcome to the Manse Bed and Breakfast we hope you enjoy your stay. The Manse was built around 1910 as the second Manse for the Presbyterian Church which is the church that can be seen behind the main street with the clock and spire. The church committee is currently raising money for the refurbishment and strengthening of the main church building. Whilst it is looking a little shabby it is still well worth a look.
The Manse retains many of its’ original features. It is furnished with an eclectic range of antiques and houses a substantial collection of art works including works by Ralph Hotere, Marilyn Webb, Simon Kaan, J S Parker, Russell Moses, Michael Armstrong, Jeffrey Harris, Peter Cleverley, Philip Maxwell, Lyn Taylor, Kathryn Madill, Robert Scott, Graham Sydney, Andrew Drummond, Jim Cooper and Eion Stevens.
